Who this policy is for

This policy explains how Locus Tuition collects and uses information submitted through this website. Some of the information collected relates to a child under 18. The contact form on this site is intended to be completed by a parent or guardian on their child's behalf, not by the child themselves.

What we collect

When you fill in the contact form on our homepage, we collect: parent/guardian name, phone number, email address, your child's year group, and — if provided — what you're interested in and any additional message.

When you book a free discovery call, this is handled through Calendly, a third-party scheduling service embedded on our Book a Call page. Calendly collects the name, email address, and any details you enter when booking. Calendly's own privacy policy governs how that information is handled on their platform — we don't control or store a separate copy of it beyond what's needed to run the call.

Why we collect it

We use this information to respond to your enquiry, understand what your child needs, and — if you decide to go ahead — to arrange and deliver tuition sessions.

How long we keep it

If we don't hear back after an initial enquiry, we aim to delete that data within 12 months. If your child becomes a student, we keep relevant contact and session information for the duration of tuition, plus a reasonable period afterwards for our own record-keeping.

Do we share or sell your data?

No. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with third parties beyond the tools needed to run this business (our contact form provider, Formspree, our scheduling tool, Calendly, and — if you've accepted cookies — Google Analytics), each of which has its own privacy policy.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site — which pages get read, roughly how people arrive here, that kind of thing. It's used for our own analytics only; we don't run advertising or retargeting campaigns, and no cookie is set until you actively accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit.

If you decline, no analytics cookie is set and no data is sent to Google. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page.

Our lawful basis for processing

• Consent — you tick a consent checkbox before submitting the contact form.
• Legitimate interest — responding to a genuine enquiry you've made.
• Contract — once your child is enrolled, to deliver and manage tuition.

Requesting deletion or a copy of your data

You can ask us to delete, correct, or send you a copy of the information we hold at any time by emailing hello@locustuition.co.uk. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
